Edong in Different Decades of His Life
Dekada 60: Ng isilang ang isang Edong Magpayo sa Lunsod ng Cabanatuan sa Nueva Ecija, lumaki sa Lola na tinawag na Nanay Taba.
Dekada 70: Nakasama ni Edong ang kaniyang Tita na tinawag na Nanay Fe, mga Kapatid at Pinsan at doon na din siya nag-elementarya.
Dekada 80: Dinala si Edong sa Quezon City ng kaniyang Tiyuhing tinawag niyang Kuya Unong. Tumulong sa mga gawaing bahay na naging daan para makapagtapos siya ng Sekundarya.
Dekada 90: Ng dalhin si Edong ng kaniyang Kapatid na si Kuya Francis sa Puerto Princesa, pinag-aral sa kursong Teknikal at natapos niya ito noong 1992 sa MATS.
Nagtrabaho si Edong sa NCCC para maka-ipon at muling bumalik sa Kolehiyo para kunin ang kursong nais, ang Mass Communication.
Si Edong ay nag-working students at Iskolar ng PSU bilang Filipino Editor ng Pioneer, naging Waiter, Bartender at D.I sa Disco Bar sa Puerto.
Sa Kolehiyo ay sinalihan ni Edong ang ibat-ibang samahan sa pagnanais na mahulma ang kaniyang kaalaman sa usapin ng pamumuno at pagseserbisyo sa Bayan.
Halos lahat ng nilahukan ni Edong na grupo ay nahalal siya sa pinakamataas na puwesto na mas lalo pang nagpa-igting ng kaniyang dedikasyon sa paglilingkod sa kaniyang grupo, komunidad at kalikasan.
Kaya ng magtapos si Edong sa Kolehiyo ay ipinagpatuloy niya ang kaniyang nasimulang gawain, pinasok ang paglilingkod sa mga Non-Government Organization (NGO), nag-volunteer at sumali sa ibat-ibang Samahang Sibiko.
Dekada 2000: Siglong naging hudyat para kilalanin ang kaniyang mga naging ambag sa Programang pang-Komunidad, Kalikasan at Kabataan, tumanggap ng ibat-ibang parangal mula sa ibat-ibang grupo.
